Job Opening - Senior NOC Position - Nagios Administrator

My current employer, Genesys Corp. is looking for someone to fill the
following role here in their SLC office for their enterprise telecom cloud
platform:

Senior NOC Position - Nagios Administrator

Skills
• Nagios, SNMP monitoring administration
• Have knowledge and experience with Nagios addons such as mod_gearman,
Thruk, pnp4nagios, NagVis, etc.
• Have knowledge and experience with SNMP infrastructure such as snmptrapd,
snmptt, sec (Simple Event Correlator)
• Have knowledge and experience configuring and authoring Nagios scripting,
writing Nagios checks, configuring SNMP traps
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Linux (CentOS), HP, Cisco, NetApp,
generic SNMP devices
• Have knowledge and experience with networking and routing protocols.
• Have knowledge and experience architecting large monitoring environment
deployments for efficiency and redundancy.
• Have knowledge and experience with HP, Cisco, NetApp, HVAC systems, etc..

Duties
• Day to day responsibility for platform monitoring across multiple
datacenters.
• Analyzing and recommending improvements with monitoring
architecture/processes.
• Mentoring NOC personnel in the assessment of monitor alerting and
remediation.
• Document alerts and responses in the NOC Wiki.
• Provide guidance on process to support alert creation and maintenance.

This currently is a long-term contract position (minimum 6 months), but
strong possibility to become permanent. Pay depends on experience, but
would be on the high end of market.
